This crystal decanter and 8 glasses were produced in France by Baccarat c. 1900. The quality and style of the set is indicative of Baccarat. The decanter is 13 1/2 inches high and the glasses are 5 1/4 inches high. The glasses are the appropriate size for sherry. The crystal is hand blown with excellent clarity. Details such as star bursts and diamond cut knobs are expertly hand crafted. The set is decorated with a lacy, acid etched floral pattern. These crystal dresser jars were produced in Belgium in the early 20th century. Only one is pictured but they are an identical pair. They are not signed but we believe they were made by Val St. Lambert. We have seen this pattern before. They are 3 3/8 inches in diameter and 2 1/8 inches high. The crystal is hand blown and cut with panels and star bursts. The lids have floral decorations that are acid etched from green to clear. The workmanship is very fine and detailed. This set of 5 wine glasses was produced in France in the late 19th century. From the shape of the foot and the style of engraving, we believe they were made by Baccarat. Each glass is 7 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 1/2 inches. This excellent crystal is hand blown to perfection and rings clearly. The stem and foot are hollow. The cranberry bowl is hand engraved down to the clear crystal and is polished. This graceful art nouveau design is repeated on the foot of each glass. Drinking from these glasses would be an elegant affair. All 5 wine glasses are in excellent condition.
