This pair of glass candlesticks was produced in Europe. They are unmarked but we think that they are Bohemian, made in the 1920's. They are 8 3/4 inches high and the base has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches. The glass has a lead content and makes a ringing sound when tapped. They are hand blown and joined in four parts. They have pontils on the bottoms. The shape creates an elegant, sleek silhouette. It is sometimes difficult to know how old a piece of glass is so we take clues from the style or how much wear is on the bottom edges. There is sufficient wear to the bottoms of these candlesticks to know that they were not made in recent years. They have an art deco look. Condition: One candlestick has a popped bubble in the glass that occurred in the manufacturing process. There are no other defects. This handsome pair of candlesticks is in excellent condition.

This crystal bell was produced in Bohemia by Moser before 1940. It is 5 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 3/4 inches. The bell is hand blown of clear crystal with a layer of purple glass over it. The purple glass is hand cut into panels to let the clear crystal show through. In between the panels and on the handles there is intricately hand painted gilding. There are areas that are heavily gilded. The clapper inside the bell is a faceted cut crystal bead. The bell has a pleasing crystal ring. It is a handsome, decorative piece in excellent condition.
