This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl before 1980. It has a model number 2406. The bird is 5 inches high. It is a true to life nuthatch you might find at your bird feeder. He is perched on a tree stump facing down. They always walk facing down on trees. The modeling has fine detail with attention to feathers and texture. The bird is hand painted and very natural. This porcelain captures the character of the nuthatch with his alertness and precise pose. Condition: Excellent

This perfume bottle with stopper was produced in Hungary by Herend in 1976. It has a commemorative mark for the 150th year of the company’s existence. The bottle is 7 1/2 inches tall with the stopper. There are two amazing features of this bottle. One is the double walled reticulated porcelain it is made of. Second is the amazing stopper with 5 inch dauber. The front of the bottle has a reserve of Rothchild birds in a tree. The rest of the bottle is entirely covered by the swirling flowers and leaves hand painted around the pierced decoration. There are a few scattered bugs and a little rose finial on the top. This is a confection of porcelain to delight any lady. Condition: Excellent

This covered dish was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. It measures 4 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is finely pierced or reticulated. The handle and roses on the lid are applied. The dish is hand painted in brilliant colors and amply gilded. It would be used as a pot-pourri dispenser. It is a lovely accent piece of delicate quality. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain miniature tureen was produced in Hungary by Herend in 1976. It is a commemorative piece celebrating 150 years of production by Herend. It measures 5 1/4 inches across the handles and is 3 3/4 inches high. It is made of fine, hard paste porcelain. The piece is decorated with garlands of stylized corn flowers and foliage. There are blue ribbons and the finial on the lid is a lemon. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain vases was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1973. They measure 5 1/4 inches high and have a diameter of 3 1/4 inches. They have a rich cobalt blue ground. The reserves on the front of the vases are expertly hand painted. The sprays of brightly colored flowers are framed in elaborate gilded cartouches. There are other gilded features and trim. They have a graceful shape with pedestal bases and handles. It is lovely to find a matching pair. Need a gift for someone special? Condition: Excellent, first quality.

This set of 8 porcelain tea cups, saucers and dessert plates was produced in Germany at the renowned Nymphenburg factory. They are dated from 1958 through 1978. Most of the pieces have the dates on the bottom. The plates measure 7 inches in diameter, the saucers are 5 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. The rims of each piece are crimped and scalloped. All are hand painted, with no two pieces exactly the same. The monochrome floral painting of Dresden style flowers is accented with gold. The rims are all trimmed with gold. There are two orange, two gray, two yellow and two puce sets with a total of 24 pieces. They are a true delight to see and use. Condition: Excellent

These 8 porcelain tea cups and saucers were produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. The saucers are 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. They are decorated with the pattern known as “Rothschild Birds”. The porcelain is molded with a raised basket weave border. Colorful birds sit in a tree with a necklace hanging from the branches. Butterflies and insects are scattered about the surface of both pieces. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold. Herend’s creations are tasteful and timeless. NOTE: Although only one cup and saucer is pictured, this auction is for 8 cups and saucers in the Rothschild Birds pattern, and all 8 are in excellent condition.

They are signed by the renowned modeler, Knud Kyhn. This rowdy pair of cubs are full of action playing. This artist was able to capture the moment in lively motion. The model number is 1032 which we believe was modeled before 1970. It is 4 3/4 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across the wings. This duckling is a spunky little guy. His modeling captures his lively personality. He is hand painted with shades of brown and beige giving him a soft appearance. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Hungary by the Herend Factory between 1950 and 1970. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set has a molded swirl and basket weave pattern in the porcelain. It is hand painted with brightly colored flowers and fruits. There are tiny insects dotting the inside of the cup and on the outside of the saucer. They don’t eat too much. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain German Shepherd figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1960s. It measures 11 1/2 inches high, 7 1/2 inches long and 3 3/4 inches wide. The dog is nicely modeled with specific attention to details of the breed. His coloring is by hand. He has a very attentive demeanor, seemingly waiting for his next command. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1970. It is 8 3/4 inches by 8 3/4 inches and 2 3/4 inches deep. The porcelain is the finest quality you will find. It is decorated with traditional Chinese motifs. There is a pair of fighting roosters in the center of the bowl. Ornate dragons and Chinese symbols decorate the borders. These are all superbly hand painted and amply gilded. There is heavy gold trim on the rim. The outside of the bowl is decorated as well. Condition: Excellent. This bowl is first quality

This porcelain dish was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1970. It has a diameter of 8 1/2 inches and it is 1 3/4 inches high. The porcelain is of the most excellent quality. The dish is formed with a ribbed interior fanning out into a scalloped edge. The decoration is taken from the Chinese. There are fighting roosters in the center, red dragons and Chinese ornaments. These are all hand painted and gilded. There is gold trim on the rim of the dish. Condition: Excellent. This is a first quality dish.

This set of 6 fruit knives, stainless steel blades and porcelain handles, was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby before 1970. They are 8 1/2 inches long. They are in a silk lined fitted box. The handles are fine bone china. They are decorated with a floral transfer decoration which is painted over by hand. The stainless steel blades have a serrated edge. Condition: Excellent. They have never been used.

This porcelain charger was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1970. It has a diameter of 10 inches and is 1 3/4 inches deep. The porcelain is the highest quality, with a shiny, even glaze. It is decorated with Chinese style ornaments. There are fighting roosters in the center, dragons and Chinese ornaments, all hand painted and gilded. There is heavy gold trim on the rim. Condition: Excellent. This is a first quality charger.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Hungary by the Herend Factory between 1950 and 1970. The saucer is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 3/4 inches deep. The cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of fine quality porcelain. There is a basket-weave motif molded into the porcelain. The rim of the cup is scalloped. It is decorated with a form of “pink onion” design in raspberry color. The pattern is quite intricate and is accented with gold. There are little sprigs and a medallion inside the cup and sprigs on the outside of the saucer. The handle and rims of the cup are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent
