This perfume bottle with stopper was produced in Hungary by Herend in 1976. It has a commemorative mark for the 150th year of the company’s existence. The bottle is 7 1/2 inches tall with the stopper. There are two amazing features of this bottle. One is the double walled reticulated porcelain it is made of. Second is the amazing stopper with 5 inch dauber. The front of the bottle has a reserve of Rothchild birds in a tree. The rest of the bottle is entirely covered by the swirling flowers and leaves hand painted around the pierced decoration. There are a few scattered bugs and a little rose finial on the top. This is a confection of porcelain to delight any lady. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain vases was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1973. They measure 5 1/4 inches high and have a diameter of 3 1/4 inches. They have a rich cobalt blue ground. This set of 8 porcelain tea cups, saucers and dessert plates was produced in Germany at the renowned Nymphenburg factory. They are dated from 1958 through 1978. Most of the pieces have the dates on the bottom. The plates measure 7 inches in diameter, the saucers are 5 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. The rims of each piece are crimped and scalloped. All are hand painted, with no two pieces exactly the same. The monochrome floral painting of Dresden style flowers is accented with gold. The rims are all trimmed with gold. There are two orange, two gray, two yellow and two puce sets with a total of 24 pieces. They are a true delight to see and use. Condition: Excellent

These 8 porcelain tea cups and saucers were produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. The saucers are 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. They are decorated with the pattern known as “Rothschild Birds”. The porcelain is molded with a raised basket weave border. Colorful birds sit in a tree with a necklace hanging from the branches. Butterflies and insects are scattered about the surface of both pieces. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold. Herend’s creations are tasteful and timeless. NOTE: Although only one cup and saucer is pictured, this auction is for 8 cups and saucers in the Rothschild Birds pattern, and all 8 are in excellent condition.
