This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges around 1900. They are signed by Ester Miler who had a decorating studio in the United States. The plates have a diameter of 8 1/2 inches. The edges of the plates are scalloped. Each plate is hand painted in Miler’s distinctive style. The roses are done in vibrant, peachy colors. The ground color blends from peach to green. The rims are trimmed with gold. These plates would make a wonderful display on a wall. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges in the 1880s. It was made especially for the retailer Yost-Dohrmann Co., Stockton California. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The porcelain is very thin and translucent. The cup features a pedestal base. The decoration is a factory transfer that is hand colored. There is elaborate lacy gilding in abundance. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold. High quality and good taste are evident in this elegant set. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges between 1876 and 1889. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cup is 3 inches high. The cup features a ribbon shaped handle and the saucer is slightly scalloped. The decoration is a factory transfer. There is lacy gilding with ribbons and bows, books, musical instruments and other objects in the design. The gilding overlays a floral pattern with tiny roses. The handle has uneven sponged gilding and there is gold trim on the rims of both pieces. Condition: It is in excellent condition with just a stray bit of gold on the side of the cup.

The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The ground color shades from light to darker yellow. The decoration is a factory transfer. The design is Asian inspired and flows across the porcelain. There is lacy gold trim inside the rim of the cup, the handle is gilded and there are other gilded accents as well. This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in France in the 1890s. It has a Limoges manufacturer’s mark unknown to us. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The set has a blown-out and paneled shape. The muted colors shade from light to dark creating a velvety effect. The flower painting is all outlined in gold. The bottom of the cup and area surrounding the well of the saucer are done in high glaze contrasting with the matte finish of the rest of the set. You couldn’t find a more Victorian looking set. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain dresser tray was produced in France by Haviland Limoges in 1894. The studio artist who painted it put a date on it. The tray measures 9 1/4 inches long and 8 1/4 inches wide. The porcelain blank has a molded handle and little crimped edges, giving it a frilly look. It is exquisitely hand painted with purple bearded irises in art nouveau fashion. There are gilded accents and gold trim. Condition: Excellent

These 10 porcelain plates were produced in Lorraine, France by Niderviller between 1780 and 1800 under the patronage of Count Custine. They measure 9 1/2 inches in diameter. They have 6 lobes around the rim. They are made of hard paste translucent porcelain. They are decorated in the style that Sevres used. The decoration is beautifully hand painted with clusters of realistic flowers in vibrant colors. There are sprigs and buds scattered around each piece. The rims are trimmed with gold. This set is very rare and hard to find. Condition: There are several manufacturing flaws that are hidden by the little hand painted sprigs. There is some over-painting and restoration to chips on the rims of some of the plates. The gilding on the rims varies from very good to worn. They have minor surface wear from stacking.

This porcelain sucrier or covered sugar bowl was produced in Paris, France in the late 18th century. It is unmarked with the exception of some incised unidentifiable marks. It has a height of 5 1/2 inches and a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. There are ring handles on each side of the bowl. It has elaborate hand gilding with garlands of flowers and pots filled with flowers. The gilding is superb. There are two reserves on the sides of the bowl containing vibrantly colored baskets of flowers. The workmanship is high quality and is from a distinguished manufacturer. Condition: The finial on the lid was broken off and re-attached. There are no other defects.

This porcelain mustache cup and saucer was produced in France in the late 19th century. It is unmarked and the maker is unknown. The saucer has a diameter of 6 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The set has the most delightful shape, with 6 sides. The cup billows out about 2/3 of the way down the side of the cup, creating scalloped panels. The ground color is light cream. It is decorated with the most delicate hand painted flowers in soft pastel colors. Fern-like twigs done with raised gilding drift across the porcelain. The handle, rims and mouth piece are trimmed in gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain charger or wall plaque was produced in France by Flambeau Limoges in the 1890s. It has an artist’s signature on the front. The charger measures 13 1/4 inches in diameter, making it a fairly large size. The porcelain is pierced on the back and is wired to facilitate hanging on the wall. It has a scrolled rococo border that is heavily gilded. There is a lovely hand painted scene of ancient Greek or Roman times of ladies at their leisure. They are dressed in flowing robes with marble columns and structures in the background. The painting is professional and well composed. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by a Paris Porcelain decorator circa 1800. It is unmarked but there are some incised marks in the porcelain that you often find with Paris pieces. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/8 inches and it is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The set is decorated in the Sevres style. It has a band of pink and aqua with borders of leaves, berries and gilded flowers. There are wide, shiny bands of gold on the rims, and the inside of the cup is gilded. The gilding is very detailed and some of it is tooled. Condition: There is some very slight wear to the gold.

This potpourri jar or vase was produced in France by M. Redon Limoges in the late 19th century. It has a double marking which indicates that it was manufactured and decorated at the factory. It is 5 1/2 inches tall, including the lid and has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches. The ground color is a rich cobalt blue. It has raised gilded decorations of oak leaves, acorns and ferns. The neck of the jar and the lid are gilded with two toned gold. Condition: Excellent
