These 12 porcelain cream soup cups and saucers were produced in England by the Royal Cauldon Factory around 1900. The saucers measure 5 ¾ inches in diameter and the cups are 6 inches across the handles and 2 inches high. The cups feature graceful scalloped pedestal bases and split branch handles. All pieces are decorated with elaborate gilding that nearly covers the entire surface. There are knots of colorful hand painted flowers accenting the gold decorations. A lovely rose is at the bottom of each cup and well of each saucer. They were produced with such amazing delicacy and style; they are irresistible. Condition: One small, shallow chip just nicking the gold on the edge of a saucer, keeps this set of 12 from being excellent.

These 4 porcelain soup cups and saucers were produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the 1890s. The saucers measure 5 1/8 inches and the cups are 2 inches high. The cups are quatrefoil, blown out and puffy in shape. The ground color is known as “blush”, shading from lighter to darker beige. They are decorated with transfer designs that are hand painted and have enameled accents. Brushed on gilding accents the inside rims of the cups and there is a row of tiny gold beads trimming the rims. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Bodley between 1870 and 1882. The saucer measures 5 1/4 inches long and 4 3/4 inches wide. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup has a puffy, blown-out shape with molded panels. The saucer is heart shaped and also has molded scrolls in the porcelain. The main color is greenish turquoise. Brightly colored, hand painted flowers fill the panels around the cup and surround the interior of the saucer. The borders and scroll work is trimmed with gold. The rims and handle are accented with gold. Condition: Excellent, without defects of any kind.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Brownfields in 1881. The name of the company is impressed in the porcelain and there is a registry mark giving the precise date the cup and saucer was produced. The saucer measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is quatrefoil in shape. There are alternating panels of hand painted fruits and textured burgundy red. The fruits are painted in raised silver and gold enamels. There are gilded accents and trim on both pieces. The style is distinctively aesthetic. Condition: There is a trace of wear to the gilding around the well of the saucer. There is one tiny white spot on a raised dot on the saucer. Overall, the set is in very good condition.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Brown, Westhead & Moore in the 1890s. It is a transitional set, just before the company became Cauldon. It was made especially for Gilman and Collamore of New York. The porcelain is extra fine and has molded swirls in the body. The decoration of tiny corn flower garlands is hand painted. Garlands of gilded leaves entwine with the corn flowers creating a delicate pattern. Tiny sprigs dot the outside of the cup. The scalloped borders, the gilded trim and fine porcelain make this a delightful cup and saucer. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea bowl and saucer was produced in England at the Derby Porcelain Works between 1770 and 1784. It has the gilded letter “D” and anchor mark on each piece. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 3 inches in diameter and 1 3/4 inches high. The porcelain is molded with ribs making the edges scalloped. The decoration is modest. The borders of the bowl and saucer have a turquoise enamel band. It is also in the well of the saucer. Delicate gilding accents the contours of each piece. The interior of the cup has slight pitting in the glaze common to 18th century porcelain. It is remarkable to think that this tea bowl and saucer has been cherished for over 200 years. Condition: Light wear to gilded trim and slight roughness on the foot of the cup.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. It was produced especially for the prestigious retailer, Gilman and Collamore of New York. The saucer has a diameter of 3 3/4 inches. The cup is 1 7/8 inches high with a diameter of 1 7/8 inches. The fine, white bone china is covered entirely be gold. There are panels of intricate, embossed patterns alternating with panels of raised turquoise enamel beads or jewels. The beads graduate in size and are separated by tiny raised gold beads. The gold shimmers in light. This is an exceptional example of Coalport’s workmanship and will be a star in any collection. Condition: 3 tiny beads missing on saucer near well. It is in otherwise excellent condition.

This porcelain 3 piece coffee cup, saucer and dessert plate was produced in England in the mid 19th century.  It is unmarked with only hand painted pattern numbers on the underside of each piece.  The plate has a diameter of 7 inches, the saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high.  The cup has a comfortable ring handle.  The set has a cobalt blue ground color.  There are gilded medallions containing hand painted pink roses.  Elaborate, hand painted decoration contrasts beautifully against the deep cobalt.  Bands of embossed gold encircle each piece.  The Victorian style and fine bone china is evidence of an excellent manufacturer such as Brownfields or Bodley.  This set will enhance the enjoyment of your favorite coffee. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England between 1800 and 1815. It has no mark from the manufacturer but it may have been made by Minton or Coalport. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The shape of the cup is known as a bute shape. The porcelain has a slightly grayish tinge to it. It is not pure white like the bone china produced in later years in England. The decoration is in the Imari style using brightly colored enamels to hand paint the bold designs. There are gilded accents within the decoration. The rims of the cup and saucer are trimmed with gold. There is some wear on the edge of the saucer and the rim of the cup. For a cup and saucer this age, the wear is quite minor. It is in otherwise excellent condition.
