This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Mintons in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of
4 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set has a wonderful scarlet red ground color. It is decorated with embossed gold medallions and gilded swags. The rims have wide embossed gold borders. It is an elegant set that was produced especially for the retailer Davis & Collimore of New York.
Condition: The saucer has light crazing in the glaze on the underside. There are no other imperfections.
Note: The spots in some of the photos are not imperfections in the cup and saucer but result from the photography.

The saucer has a diameter of 5 5/8 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It is beautifully hand painted with violets and foliage. The contrast of the vivid colors against the pure white porcelain accentuates the purity and beauty of nature. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold.

4 1/2 inches and the cup is 1 5/8 inches high. This cup and saucer has a most unique shape. The cup has melon ribs and a cute, crimped handle. The saucer has a scalloped edge with a little ruffle. The set is decorated with elaborate gilding that covers the entire surface of both pieces. The design is accented with bunches of brightly colored flowers outlined in gold. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold.
Condition: Both pieces have light crazing in the glaze.

The saucer measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter and is 1 1/4 inches deep. The porcelain has a bluish tint. The decoration is flow blue in Chinese style. There are figures on a sampan in the water with trees and buildings in the landscape. There are blue patterned borders just inside the rims of each piece accented with gold.
