This set of 6 porcelain soup cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden around 1900. This company did some of the finest hand painted decorating among Dresden decorators. The saucers have a diameter of 7 inches and the cups are 2 inches high. They have wide bands of apple green. Two gilded cartouches of hand painted flowers are inside the cups and on the saucers. The flowers are realistic and colorful. There are tiny flower buds dotting the exteriors of all the cups. All of the pieces are trimmed with raised and beaded gilding. The rims and handles are trimmed with gold. Just imagine what delicious things you could serve in these cups.
Condition: There is slight scuffing to some of the gilding but no losses. They are in very good condition.
