This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The cup has a molded, blown-out shape. The rims are slightly scalloped. They have a rich burgundy border surrounding each piece. There are raised gold dots and delicate gold trim on the burgundy ground and at its edge. There is light apricot colored shading from light to dark on both pieces. Lovely tendrils of flowers flow down the sides of the cup and across the saucer. There is lacy gold trim inside the rim of the cup. This set is a delightful confection of porcelain artistry.
