This porcelain master salt dish was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 1940s or 50s. It is 3 1/4 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches high. The porcelain is molded with great detail. It has a beaded rim, reticulated base and little ball feet. It has a reserve in the center containing a hand painted landscape surrounded by a blue ribbon and bow. There is gilding accenting the piece inside and out. Condition: Except for a couple of light scratches to the gold inside the dish, it is in excellent condition.
