This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Copeland between 1851 and 1885. The pattern is known as Japan 7911. The saucer has a diameter of 4 5/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It is decorated with a design inspired by the Japanese. Cobalt flow blue is joined by elaborate floral decorations in rust red, green and gold. The decoration is all hand painted. Condition: There is minor wear to the gilded rim of the saucer. With all of the decoration you can hardly notice it.
