| This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Copeland between 1851 and 1885. The saucer is 4 1/4 inches square and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The set has interesting molded accents in the porcelain. The pink panels are decorated with cobalt blue flowers and gilded leaves. The borders on both pieces repeat the floral pattern in miniature. There are areas of fish scale gilding on the cup and saucer. The decoration is indicative of the Aesthetic movement. Condition: There is a bit of thinning to gilding inside the well of the saucer. It is otherwise in excellent condition. | ||
