This set of 12 porcelain bread and butter plates was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the 1880s. Not all the plates are pictured but there are 12 in the set. The plates have a diameter of 6 1/4 inches. The rims are slightly scalloped. They are hand painted with charming sprays and garlands of flowers in a palate of blue, pink and yellow. There is delicate hand gilded trim. There is a cartouche with a gilded monogram on the rims. Originally, they would have been used for bread but they make great serving dishes for some dessert or hors devours.
Condition: One plate has a rim chip (pictured) but the other 11 are in excellent condition.
