| This porcelain plate was produced in England by Mintons in 1879. It has impressed date ciphers indicating this year. The plate has a diameter of 9 1/8 inches. It is made of fine, white bone china. The center is painted with realistic peaches and branches. There is an unusual white crystalline section that is approximately 1 3/4 inches wide. It has a spattered texture that glistens when light hits it. It’s rather like a snow cone in texture and appearance. The rim is trimmed with gilded accents. This is a fine example of Mintons’ creative techniques. Condition: Excellent | ||
