| This porcelain plate was produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the late 19th century. It is artist signed by W. Slater It has a diameter of 8 3/4 inches. The plate is made of fine, white bone china. The edges are scalloped and there is a pattern of hollowed out sections around the border of the plate. It is painted in the most delicate, exquisite art nouveau style. There are broad, multi-colored leaves and Queen Anne’s lace covering the plate. The veins and edges of the leaves are accented with raised gold. The Queen Anne’s lace is painted with raised enamel. There are shadows and depth in the composition. It is a wonderful work of art on porcelain. Condition: Excellent | ||
