Antique Wolfsohn Dresden Reticulated Cherub Bowl

This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany at the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden studio in the late 19th century. It has a diameter of 7 3/4 inches and is 2 inches deep. A 2 inch border is reticulated and accented with gilding and yellow trim. The center of the bowl is finely hand painted with cherubs reminiscent of Meissen figurines. They are little winged explorers with a globe and telescope. There is lacy gold trim framing this scene. The outer portion of the bowl is also trimmed with gold and yellow accents. Condition: Excellent
