This porcelain tea caddy with lid was produced in Germany by Richard Klemm Dresden in the late 19th century. It measures
6 1/2 inches tall, including the lid, and is 3 1/8 inches wide. The tea caddy is beautifully decorated in Viennese style with ornate gilding and hand painted scenes. There are cartouches on both sides with lovers in garden landscapes. They are beautifully hand painted in fine detail and vivid coloring. The tea caddy has a lime green border that is overlaid with fine gilding. This is an uncommon item that is highly decorative.
Condition: There is very minor wear to some gilding. Overall, it is 99% intact and this tea caddy is in excellent condition.
