Guest Book

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Minton in1870. It has a date cipher indicating this year and an incised word, Minton. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The set is made of fine white bone china. The cup features a handle in the shape of a butterfly. The ground color of the set is mint green. It is decorated with a transfer design of violets that are hand colored. This design was inspired by the Asian influence of that period. There is gold trim on both pieces. Condition: It has very slight surface wear that is very minor. We would consider it to be in excellent condition.
