Guest Book

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1853. It has a registry mark indicating this year. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The set shows the Aesthetic influence. The borders of both pieces have just the outlines of flowers done in gray in a muted effect. There are panels of hand painted flowers, foliage, bugs and butterflies encircling both pieces. The set has raised gold accents and trim. The inside of the cup and the well of the saucer are pink. Condition: The saucer has light, clean crazing. There are no other defects.
