| This porcelain charger or wall plaque was produced in France by Flambeau Limoges in the 1890s. It has an artist’s signature on the front. The charger measures 13 1/4 inches in diameter, making it a fairly large size. The porcelain is pierced on the back and is wired to facilitate hanging on the wall. It has a scrolled rococo border that is heavily gilded. There is a lovely hand painted scene of ancient Greek or Roman times of ladies at their leisure. They are dressed in flowing robes with marble columns and structures in the background. The painting is professional and well composed. Condition: Excellent | ||
