| This porcelain mustache cup and saucer was produced in France in the late 19th century. It is unmarked and the maker is unknown. The saucer has a diameter of 6 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The set has the most delightful shape, with 6 sides. The cup billows out about 2/3 of the way down the side of the cup, creating scalloped panels. The ground color is light cream. It is decorated with the most delicate hand painted flowers in soft pastel colors. Fern-like twigs done with raised gilding drift across the porcelain. The handle, rims and mouth piece are trimmed in gold. Condition: Excellent | ||
