Unique Antique Bodley Figural Tea Cup & Saucer
This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by E.J. Bodley in 1876. There is a registry mark which indicates this date. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The cup features raised apple blossoms, little branch feet and a handle in the shape of a branch. The details are hand painted with similar decorations on the saucer. The rims are trimmed with dentil gilding. This unique cup and saucer is inspired by the Aesthetic movement and the love of natural things. Condition: Excellent
