This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1773 and 1814. It has the under glaze crossed swords mark with the star. The bowl measures 9 inches in diameter and is 2 inches deep. It is hand painted with a colorful design inspired by the Chinese. There are branches of flowers with a flying bird in the center. Little flower sprigs are scattered around the surface. This is a decorative piece of early Meissen porcelain that will display beautifully. Condition: Excellent original condition, first quality.
