This porcelain set of china was produced in Bavaria by Schumann in the 1940s. The pattern is known as “Dresden Flowers.” This is a service with a tea pot, coffee pot, sugar bowl with lid, cream pitcher, 12 dessert plates, 12 coffee cups and saucers, and 12 tea cups and saucers. That is a total of 67 pieces. All of the cups are very ample in size for a generous cup of tea or coffee. The dessert plates measure 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The pattern is colorful and bright. The saucers and dessert plates have reticulated borders. All pieces have gilded accents and gold trim. It isn’t often you find a set as complete as this. You would be ready for spring and summer entertaining.
