This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Copeland’s China in the 1870s. The saucer measures 4 3/4 inches square and the cup is 2 inches high. It is made of fine bone china. The Asian style influenced the design of this set. A pattern of white blossoms with gilded leaves cover the panels on the cup and saucer. The bright orange ground is out of the ordinary. It is reminiscent of designs one might have seen on a kimono. There are many gold accents and gilded trim. Condition: Excellent
