| This pair of pate-sur-pate vases was produced in Europe in the late 1870's. They measure 6 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 4 inches. They are unmarked. The design on these vases is Japanese style. The quality of the workmanship indicates that they could be German or French. The raised design is outlined with gilding. The background is a very deep cobalt blue. The top and bottom rims are gilded in two-color gold. Both vases are in excellent condition. | ||
