| These 8 glasses were produced in Italy in the 1920’s. The Venetian style of gilding and decoration is indicative of that period. We do not know who the specific manufacturer is. They are 7 ½ inches high and the bowl of the glass is 4 ¾ inches in diameter. Each glass is hand blown in 3 parts then joined together. The bowl of the glass is clear crystal. The stem and foot are amethyst crystal. Gold leaf decoration was applied and then intricately etched by hand. Bowers of grapes and leaves as well as garlands of roses are hand enameled around each glass. The rim of each glass is beaded with enamel trim. Each glass is a work of art that took many hours and great expertise to complete. All are in excellent condition. | ||
