| This figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1936. It is 8 inches high and 5 inches wide. There are initials in the base, MHF, which are the modeler’s initials. The charming subject matter of a naked child dancing with a goat, are a contrasting composition. The surface of the child’s body is finished in a soft matte glaze. The goat is finished with a high gloss glaze. This gives texture to the piece as well as the visual contrast. It is very well modeled and hand painted. It is a cheerful pair to behold. This figurine is in excellent condition. | ||
