Rare Antique Coalport Flora-Form Vase
This vase was produced in England by Coalport between 1810 and 1825. It measures 8 inches high and 6 inches at the widest part of the opening. The porcelain is soft paste, shaped in the form of a blossom. There are handles in the shape of branches and leaves. It has flowers that were molded and added on in the style of early Meissen. The coloring is hand painted and there are gilded accents and trim. Several stems, leaves and branches have losses. The interior has some crazing and light discoloration from use. Overall, it is a very handsome antique vase worthy of consideration.
