| This wall plague was produced in Germany in the late 19th century. It was manufactured by Musterschutz, renowned for their drinking steins. The plaque measures 13 inches in diameter and 2 ¼ inches deep. It is made of terracotta pottery. The scene is modeled in 3 dimensions displaying very fine details. Each stone in the wall, the planks in the wine casks, and folds in the cloth are all defined. You can feel the depth of the interior of the room. The artist created a marvelous perspective. The plaque is completely hand painted. One minor chip on the wine bottle is the only flaw on this plaque. It has great decorative quality and will add old world charm to any space. | ||
