This porcelain serving dish was produced in Germany by KPM in the late 19th century. It measures 12 inches long, 9 1/4 inches wide and is 1 3/4 inches deep. The porcelain is reticulated around the edge forming branches that emerge in the center of the dish as the handle. Oak leaves and acorns are molded in high relief and hand gilded. There are lovely bouquets of flowers realistically hand painted in the center of each well. It is amazing that there is virtually no evidence of use or wear on this dish. It is in excellent condition.
