This tea cup and saucer was produced in the U.S. by Willets around 1920. Neither the cup nor saucer is marked but the shape is identifiable. The saucer measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is very delicate and translucent. A swirled pattern is molded into the body of both pieces with scalloped edges. The cup has a small foot and a rococo style handle. The decoration is of tiny rose buds scattered about the cup and saucer, which appears to be factory transfer with hand painted highlights. There is gold trim accenting the molded decoration. There is some minor wear to the gold trim on the edge of the cup. It is otherwise in excellent condition.
