| This tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Cauldon around 1910. The saucer is 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high. The cup has an interesting shape with a splayed foot and a graceful handle extending over the top of the cup. The porcelain is very fine quality white bone china. The pattern of tiny roses scattered over the two pieces is a factory transfer decoration that is highlighted by hand. There are bands of gold and gold trim on the rims, handle and foot. It was made as a special order for the New York retailer, W.H. Plummer. This tea cup and saucer is in excellent condition. | ||
