| This tea cup and saucer was produced in England by an unknown company around 1860. The saucer is 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high. Although there is no manufacturer's marking it is certain that this fine set was made by an excellent company. There is a pattern identification number, N 2434 in red. The design is a transfer design with hand painted enamels and gilding. The shape and intricate decoration gives a distinctively Victorian effect. It would be delightful to drink from and wonderful to show. This fine tea cup and saucer is in excellent condition. | ||
