Beautiful Haviland Limoges Bread Tray

This porcelain bread tray or bowl was produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges between the years 1889 and 1931. It has the printed mark in red, Haviland & Co., Limoges and green mark, Haviland, France. FXT is hand written in red. The measurements are 13 1/2 inches long, 6 1/4 inches wide and 3 inches deep. It is factory transfer decorated with large, vivid chrysanthemums. They decorate the inside of the bowl and the exterior. There is a gilded trim with tiny green shamrocks around the edge. A thin band of gilding near the foot of the bowl shows some wear. It is difficult to see when the piece is sitting on a table. There are no other flaws. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
