This set of 8 porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1877. They are 9 inches in diameter. The fine, white bone china is of the finest quality. They are decorated with the highest quality artistry and craftsmanship. The center of each plate has a spray of realistic bouquets of flowers in vivid colors. There is a 1 1/2 inch turquoise border decorated in aesthetic style with raised enamel flowers and beading. There is gold beaded trim and the rims of the plates are also trimmed with gold. These plates are very similar in style to some that Minton produced around the same time. This is one of the finest sets of cabinet plates we have found in many years. With the exception of one plate with minute loss of gild on the rim, these plates are in excellent condition with no crazing.
