| This porcelain oyster plate was produced in France by Strauss, Lewis and Sons Limoges in the late 19th century. The plate measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter. It has 5 wells for oysters and a small well in the center for salt. The plate shades from blue to cream. There is hand painted raised gold decoration near the rim. Gilded accents and trim decorate the border and rim. There is some minor wear to four high spots on the plate. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition. | ||
