| This porcelain miniature cup and saucer was produced in Staffordshire, England before 1850. There are no identifying marks, but the shape and style of painting is indicative of the Staffordshire potteries. Many such items do not have markings. The saucer has a diameter of 2 1/2 inches and the cup is 1 inch high. The hand painted design is similar to the Gaudy Welch decorations. The cup is painted inside. There is gilding on the rim of the cup and the saucer. The saucer has clean, light crazing. This set is in excellent condition for its age and rarity. | ||
