This set of 6 plates was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1883. They have a diameter of 9 inches. They are made of excellent quality bone china. They have the influence of the Japanese style from the aesthetic period. Each plate is individually hand painted with the most wonderful bouquets of realistic flowers. The colors are rich and vibrant. They are painted over a light gray floral pattern which covers the whole background. Next comes a band of lace-like trim. And finally there is a 5/8 inch border of turquoise enamel finishing the plates. The rims are trimmed with gold. These plates would make a wonderful display on a wall or in a breakfront. They are all in excellent condition.
