This porcelain vase was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1880. It measures 13 inches high and is approximately 6 inches across the widest point. The vase is made of fine quality bone china. The body of the vase is melon ribbed and has a pedestal base. Repose decoration is molded into the neck and shoulder of the vase. The mouth of the vase has a rather unusual shape. The decoration is hand painted in metallic tones of gold and bronze. The magnificent iris is outlined in raised gold. There is a spray of gilded flowers on the back of the vase as well. This gorgeous vase is in excellent condition.
