| This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is delicate and translucent. The handle on the cup is swirled and is accented with magenta enamel. The style of the cup and saucer is simple and elegant. It is hand painted with purple flowers. There is a spot on the under side of the saucer which occurred in manufacture, when the piece was glazed. This sweet demitasse set is in excellent condition. | ||
