| This porcelain covered tea caddy was produced in Germany by Lorenz Hutschenreuther in 1920. The mark contains the name of the art director, Professor Fritz Klee. It is 5 1/4 inches high, 4 inches in length, and 3 inches in width. The fine, white porcelain has clean lines. It is hand decorated with strikingly bold designs. There appears to be a genie face on the lid. Ornate scrolls decorate the body of the piece. Rich, heavy gold borders trim the rims and shoulder of the piece. There is a slight loss of gilding directly under the lid where it rubs against the bottom. This does not show with the lid in place. It is in otherwise excellent condition. | ||
