| This pair of porcelain wall brackets was produced in Germany in the late 19th century. They are 2 3/4 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches deep. They are pierced for hanging. The superior quality porcelain is reticulated and molded with high relief in rococo fashion. There are cartouches of tiny hand painted flowers centrally located on each piece. The rococo decoration is painted in soft, pastel enamels and enhanced with gilding. This pair is exquisitely delicate and rare. They have been cherished for generations and incredible to find in a matched pair. They are first quality and in excellent condition. | ||
