| This porcelain dessert stand was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. The diameter of the stand is 8 1/4 inches and the height is 2 3/4 inches. The porcelain is the excellent quality we expect from the most renowned factory in the Western hemisphere. The stand is formed in two pieces and they are joined together with a metal bolt. The border of the stand is reticulated in a basket type design. Delicate bouquets of flowers decorate the center as well as three cartouches within the reticulated border. The combination of the vibrant flowers against the pure white porcelain is superb. There is a great deal of gold trim outlining the decoration and trimming the edges. This is a first quality piece in excellent condition. | ||
