Unique Ceramic Arts Belleek Pitcher
This porcelain was produced in the United States by Ceramic Arts Company in the late 19th century. Ceramic Arts Company is the predecessor of the Lenox Company. C.A.C. had a limited production over approximately twenty years. The pitcher is 3 1/4 inches high and the base has a diameter of 1 3/4 inches. This pitcher has a rather futuristic appearance with its geometric form. There are designs molded in high relief on the handle and around the middle of the pitcher. It is finished with very pale pink and cream colors. The decoration was hand painted in raised gold at the factory. The fragile nature of American Belleek and the fact that there was a limited production period makes unusual examples more difficult to find. This pitcher is in excellent condition.
