| This pair of porcelain candlesticks was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. They are 5 1/2 inches high and the base is 2 1/4 by 2 1/4 inches. The porcelain is fine quality and very substantial. They are decorated in the Kakiemon style with stylized flowers and yellow tigers. All of the decoration is hand painted in minute detail. The candlesticks are trimmed and accented with brown enamel. This is a rare and unusual pair of candlesticks, first quality and in excellent condition. | ||
