| This set of 6 porcelain tea cups and saucers was produced in Germany by F. Hirsch Dresden before 1900. The saucers measure 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is translucent and very delicate. The cups have pedestal bases and scrolled handles. The decoration is in the Meissen tradition, with wonderfully hand painted sprays of realistic flowers. There are insects and butterflies scattered on both pieces. There are even little flower buds inside the cups. Lacy gold borders trim both the cup and saucer. No two pieces are painted alike. The flowers are all different on each piece. This beautiful set of 6 tea cups and saucers is in excellent condition. | ||
