This crystal compote was produced in Bohemia in the late 19th century. There are no markings to specifically identify it. The compote has a diameter of 8 1/2 inches and it is 5 inches high. The hand blown glass has a lead content and does ring. It is hand enameled with brightly colored flowers in bunches and garlands. They are realistically done in the Dresden style. There are gold accents within the decoration and around the rims. If you have Dresden china this will compliment it perfectly.
Condition: There is just a trace of wear to the gilding on the rim of the compote. It is barely noticeable.
