| This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in Italy by Capodimonte in the late 19th century. It has an under-glaze letter N with a crown which stands for Naples. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The cup features a twisted branch handle that ends in enameled leaves. The set is made of fine hard paste porcelain which has decorations and scenes molded in high relief. The reliefs are hand painted with bright enamels depicting classical Greek mythology. The decoration on the saucer is colorful and ornate. This cup and saucer would be marvelous for display or just for having a splendid cup of coffee. Condition: Excellent | ||
