| This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in England by Minton around 1870. There are impressed marks from the factory and a printed mark for the retailer. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The set is made of fine white bone china. It is decorated with a factory transfer that is highlighted with hand painted enamels. The style of decoration is distinctively of the aesthetic period. There are wispy bits of foliage and colorful butterflies on both pieces. A lacy gold trim encircles the saucer and cup. Condition: There is light surface wear to the saucer where the cup sits. It is in otherwise excellent condition. | ||
