It is 8 inches tall and has a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. The compote is made in two pieces and bolted together. The top is cut out or reticulated in a basket weave pattern. All of the cut out segments are accented with gold. The border has cartouches with brightly painted flowers. This decoration is repeated on the underside of the top portion as well. The base has a molded swirl design that is accented with gilding. There are flowers cascading down the base. Condition: Excellent
